Kathy Cuevas

BIO

I launched my career into the tech field in 2016. Prior to then, I was a dental assistant. I decided to start with Web Development and have since learned many of the JavaScript technologies such as Vue.js, Node & Express, & React.js. Additionally, I've done a few Python & Django projects as well as WordPress projects. I also have studied Graphic Design. I have taken the initiative to learn all of these things on my own through a diverse range of educational resources.

And a little bit on the more personal side, I have two beautiful, smart, and funny daughters, a dog whose my very best friend and I absolutely love to read. I also enjoy crafting with my Cricut, cooking, and nature.

Marketing

Presently, I work part-time at BobCAD-CAM a CAD-CAM Software Provider. I was hired on as a Marketing Team Member with a focus on Web Design & Development. As of late, I have taken on a role of Social Media Marketer where I collaborate with the Marketing Team creating & deploying social media posts, including images, copyright, web, and video content.

Independent Freelancer

Web Designer & Developer

As an Independant Freelancer, I've created Wireframes & Mockups for a variety of clients. I then took these designs and coded custom WordPress themes I've also conceptualized & delivered logo and branding design concepts.

Additionally, during this time, I focused a great deal of time on my studies learning different technologies, such as:

Structural Technician

As a Structural Technician at MCE, I worked with AutoDesk Revit, a 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM) software system. I designed 3D models of structural components of both commercial & residential buildings as well as drafted construction document sets for all phases of the projects.
